Skills Requirement
The nominated position must meet the minimum skills threshold and relate to an occupation on the relevant list of occupations.
Wage Requirement
The nominee must be offered a market salary rate that is greater than the Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT)
At present the TSMIT is set at $53,900 and is indexed annually.
Prerequisites
To lodge a 457 nomination the employer must be an approved business sponsor or have lodged a sponsorship application.
